Yoga for Climate workshop

On Saturday 1st November from 4:30pm-6pm, I will be hosting a workshop that is open to yoga teachers and pratictioners who want to learn more about making a positive impact with their yoga practice, beyond the mat.

Besides teaching yoga, I am a proud campaigner for climate and social justice, and I am passionate about applying the principles of yoga philosophy to my activism and advocacy. In this workshop, I want to inspire you to take meaningful action with some easy ways to get involved in an exciting yoga-related climate campaign.

There are two options to join this workshop:

*If you would like to donate, please direct your donation to Friends of the Earth Scotland

If you are joining in-person, all equipment will be provided. If you are joining online, I recommend that you have a yoga mat and something comfortable to sit on. Whether online or in-person, please make sure you are ready at least 5 minutes before we start; latecomers will not be admitted.

The structure of the workshop will look a bit like this:

  • 4:30-4:40pm: Welcome and introduction

  • 4:40-5:10pm: Vinyasa flow practice, to get the juices flowing!

  • 5:10-5:30pm: Presentation about the campaign and opportunity to get involved

  • 5:30-5:50pm: Questions and discussion (and tea & biscuits!)

  • 5:50-6pm: Closing meditation

Please get in touch if you have any questions. If you are unable to join this workshop, but still want to get involved in the campaign, you can find out more here.
